Surfing New Zealand Photographs

New Zealand is located at the bottom of our Earth, in the south-western Pacific Ocean, and it takes a long time to travel from far off lands like States side or Europe to Aotearoa, the ‘land of the long white cloud′.

As most surfers want to know if their destination of choice has potential for scoring great waves, this lens is an album of digital photographs of New Zealand surfing. I hope my images allow you to see what you may experience during your surfing exploration (and adventure) here in New Zealand.

Although small in size, comprising two islands (the North Island and the South Island) and numerous smaller islands, New Zealand has a lot of different types of waves to offer for those seeking both big waves and small ankle snappers- from world-class point breaks to first-class beach breaks and everything in between.
